PRESS CONFERENCE, Fresno CA. - Oscar De La Hoya and Golden Boy Promotions and promoter Rick Mirigian arrived at the Save Mart Center on Tuesday March 26th, 2024 to announce the “biggest fight card the Valley has ever seen”.

The Central Valley’s Jose Ramirez (28-1) and star-to-be Vergil Ortiz Jr. (25-6) along side De La Hoya and Mirgian, took to the podium to speak on the upcoming card April 27, 2024 at the Save Mart Center.

Oscar De La Hoya recently signed Jose Ramirez beginning in 2024, but mentioned during the press conference that “I had the chance to sign him in the beginning of his career and I missed the opportunity, he is here with us now and we are excited to welcome your favorite son, Jose Ramirez, back to the Save Mart Center.

Promoter Rick Mirgian announced that “some of your favorite up-and-coming fighter will be on this undercard”, to which we later found that Visalia’s Jennah “The Gem” Creason would be making her Professional Boxing Debut, along with a couple of others who cannot be named at this time.

When asked by FIGHTCULTURE, De La Hoya expressed his excitement to be here in the valley and not only learning but experiencing the culture here. 3000 tickets have been reserved for local farm workers to enjoy the show.
