Cris Cyborg (6-0) will take on Seattle’s Precious Harris-McCray (4-1) in a six-round boxing match.

Cris Cyborg , a pioneer in the sport of Mixed Martial Arts for women around the world, began her MMA career in May of 2005. In April of 2009, Cyborg would fight for Strikeforce in San Jose, California on the undercard of Frank Shamrock vs. Nick Diaz and along side other notable names such as Gilbert Melendez and Luke Rockhold. She then went on to become one of the most dominant female fighter, winning titles with five major promotions including, UFC, Bellator, PFL, Invicta FC and Strikeforce.

Now in her 20th year of competition, Cris Cyborg returns to San Jose, California to continue her career in Professional boxing. Cyborg began her professional boxing career back in 2022. From there, she moved between fighting MMA under Bellator and competing in boxing on the off season. She comes into the Fight Night ring undefeated at 6-0 and looks to continue her win streak against Harris-McCray, who boasts a 4-1 record with three knockouts to her name.

“San Jose holds a special place in my heart as it was where I was able to be a part of history when I became the inaugural Strikeforce Women’s Featherweight Champion in the first televised women’s MMA main event fight,” said Cyborg. “Scott Coker is someone who I have worked with for many years and have great respect for. I am thrilled to join FIGHT NIGHT alongside Gilbert Melendez to continue my boxing career.”

It is also important to note that Fight Night San Jose has now become one of the few promotions to represent multiple aspects of combat sports in the ring in one night with their shows displaying Kickboxing, Muay Thai, MMA and now Boxing at both the Amateur and Professional levels.
