Super Middleweights Plant vs. Resendiz and Charlo vs. LaManna Co-headline in Las Vegas

Premier Boxing Championship took to instagram to announce a clash of super middleweight stars to co-headline at the Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandalay Bay. Interim WBA Super Middleweight Champion, Caleb Plant (23-2, 14KOs) takes on a Mexican Knockout artist in Armando Resendiz (15-2,11KOs). Also, Undefeated two-division Champion Jermall Charlo (33-0,22KOs) takes on a veteran contender in Thomas LaManna (39-5, 18KOs).

Fans took to the comments immediately, unsatisfied with the match upsmand instead asking for the fight between Caleb Plant and Jermall Charlo. Some fans came to the defense of Charlo stating that his last fight was against Jose Benavidez Jr. back in November of 2023 and a fight against Plant after that kind of layoff would not be the smartest decision. We last seen Caleb Plant in the Ring back in September of 2024 on the Canelo vs. Berlanga card, where he made a huge statement with his performance against Trevor McCumby.
