WWE and UFC’s partnership presents “NXT BATTLEGROUND” at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas

Sunday June 9, 2024 - WWE developmental brand NXT presents NXT BATTLEGROUND : Las Vegas , held at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. This begins the first of many events held between the UFC and WWE’s sister company TKO Group Holding since their announcement of their partnership back in September of 2023.

Oba Femi will defend the NXT North American title against both Wes Lee and Joe Coffey in a triple threat match. The result came after Coffey and Lee both pinned Josh Briggs in a match that was to determine the next challenger to Femi. Ava later announced the three-way for Battleground.

A ladder match for the inargural NXT Women’s North American Championship between Sol Ruca vs Lash , Legend vs. Fallon , Henley vs. Jaida and parker vs. TBD

Roxanne Perez awaits an opponent for a SIngles atch of rthe NXT Women’s Championship.

Also, an exciting NXT Underground match between Shayna Vaszler vs. Lola Vice.
