Muay Thai Purist Returns to the Evolution Sports Expo Saturday April 20,2024 in Santa Clara, CA
An eventful weekend of fighting and Muay Thai tradition is coming underway. The International Kickboxing Federation will be hosting Muay Thai Purists Full Contact Show at the Evolution Sports Expo on April 20th in Santa Clara, California. This card will be stacked with top talent ranging from debut to advanced fighters and 4 championship belts will be on the line!
Featured bouts include Nathan Aparicio who continues to stay busy after winning his 5th championship belt in early March. The young and experienced fighter will go head-to-head with Christian Cowherd from Reeds Martial Arts.
John Parreira Jr. and Luiz Alves have met once before on the PMT mats. Parreira Jr. defeated Alves to win the IKF PMT State Title while also being the reigning and defending champion for Legends Muay Thai and 155lb Junior Muay Thai Purist Champion. This bout will now be full contact with a Junior 165lb Muay Thai Purist Title on the line.
Amal Rasooli will be facing Jack Kerr. This match-up is predicted to be the fight of the night that you won’t want to miss!
Ali Hill came out victorious in her first fight under Pacific Ring Sports last month. Hill is riding this momentum into her next bout against Yvette Aguaristi for the Female Championship Title.
In addition to the show, Semi-Contact Point Muay Thai matches will take place along with more than 30 live action sports and competitions.
Fights begin at 2:00 PM. Events will run from 10am to 6pm at the Santa Clara Convention Center.
